Raw footage from the field to the newsroom, fast and private

Hotel Wi-Fi, a cellular hotspot, a satellite terminal: fft gets footage home at the speed the connection really allows, straight to the editor's machine, with no copy left on anyone's servers.

$ fft send ./CARD_A001 fft:eyJ2Ijox… -r
17–18.5 Gbps300 ms round trip, 2% loss: satellite-class paths
0 open portsNeeded on either side, even behind ordinary routers
0Copies of your data held by Falcon fft or Makai Systems

Full speed on bad links

Holds the rate through latency and loss, and repairs losses as it goes.

Picks up where it left off

An interrupted transfer resumes; nothing delivered is resent.

No servers, no open ports

Machines connect directly, even behind ordinary routers.

No middleman

Data goes straight between your machines. We never see it.

fft encrypts the content, but each side sees the other's IP address, as with any direct connection. If either location is sensitive, connect through a VPN.

Falcon fft and Makai Systems: not in the path

No middleman. We never see your data.

Every transfer goes peer to peer, straight from one machine to the other, encrypted with keys that exist only on those two machines. There is no Falcon cloud, relay or storage in between, so neither Falcon fft nor Makai Systems ever sees your files, their names, or who you send them to.

Try it on your own network

Falcon fft is in early access. Leave your email and we'll set up a trial on your own links.
